Wine Corks
We
offer a wide variety of exceptionally high quality natural,
agglomerated and synthetic wine corks.
#9 Corks will fit most standard cork finish wine bottles.
#8 corks are a slightly smaller diameter and may be used for
easier insertion.
FIRST
QUALITY WINE CORKS: First quality corks are high
quality, agglomerated corks made from uniform shavings &
unused portions of cork, & are mixed with appropriate
food grade glue to form a dense, well-made cork. These wine
corks are recommended for shorter term storage of 1 to 1.5
years.
WINERY
GRADE WINE CORKS: Double Disk corks consist of natural
cork discs ends with a high-grade agglomerate cork body. Double
Disk corks have a natural cork appearance and a reputation
of high-quality sealing properties. Developed as an economical
alternative to natural cork, Double Disk corks are recommended
for short to mid-term cellaring of wine.
SUPREMECORQ
WINE CORKS: All SupremeCorqs are individually injection
molded and produced in a state-of-the-art production facility
using the highest quality materials and molds. Made from a
food-grade thermoplastic elastomeric material, SupremeCorqs
do not impart off flavor in wine. Introduced in 1992, the
patented Original SupremeCorq is the leading quality injection
molded synthetic closure in the world. It is now used in millions
of bottles by thousands of wineries all over the world. The
Original SupremeCorq forms an excellent TCA free seal for
wine styles and markets where the wine will be consumed within
2 years.
ZORK
WINE CLOSURES:
The latest in wine closures, The ZORK Wine Closure is a combination
closure and pull-off capsule which fits on most standard 750
ml cork finish wine bottles. Insertion is simple (press on
then lightly tap with a rubber mallet), and does not require
a corker. Removal by tear-off strip produces a re-usable T-cork,
and does not require a corkscrew.
TAPERED
CORKS: Tapered
corks are useful for resealing opened bottles of wine and
short term sealing of bottles. No corker required for installation.
WINE
BOTTLE TASTING CORKS: Re-usable plastic wine bottle
closure. Simply push into open bottle for a tight seal on
unfinished bottles of wine.

SYNTHETIC
FROM SUPREME CORQ
SupremeCorqs
are a high quality closure that virtually eliminates
TCA (2,4,6-trichloroanisole), leakage, evaporation,
crumbling and cork dust traditionally associated with
tree-bark closures. SupremeCorqs form such an outstanding
seal that wine bottles can be stored in an upright position.SupremeCorqs
are made from superior food-grade thermoplastic elastomeric
materials (similar to what is used in medical devices
and baby products) using the highest quality injection
molds. They are neutral and do not support microbial
growth (TCA) or impart flavor. Many
competitive corks are extruded, and then cut to length,
leaving the core material exposed at top and bottom.
The Supreme Corq is injection molded, enclosing the
core material completely, and producing a rounder, smoother
cork. ¨ The diameter of the Supreme Corq is slightly
smaller than a natural cork to provide ease of insertion
while maintaining a tight, perfect seal. Bottles may
be put on their side for storage immediately after corking
or may be stored in an upright position. They are printed
with a decorative grape leaf pattern. |
